Beginnings

SWG was my first MMO. I began playing on 4th of july weekend on a 14 day free trial. I was immediately hooked by the sights, the sounds, and the gameplay. I had originally started out on the Europe-Infinity server (it was the recommended server at the time) I'd been horsing around doing missions when I came across another player in the Med center while I was getting rid of my mind wounds. (Yeah thats right, Pre-CU).

He was a decent guy who was interested in getting me to join his guild city. Mos Krayt. SWG Had been up and going for almost 2 years, and Mos Krayt was one of the oldest active cities on the game. As the name Implies, Mos Krayt was in northern Tatooine, a stone's throw from the Krayt Graveyard. It was exciting for me to go there, I was new to the game, and very inexperienced. In fact I was so inexperienced that I even voiced concern to the guy over paying for the price of a shuttle ticket to travel there!

By the time I was done with the free trial I was very happy to join Mos Krayt, and was well on my way to building my first serious character in the game.
